About

About / how we rank

ClinicAI Compare is written by a Malaysian GP who runs a busy clinic and wanted a straight answer to "which AI scribe actually works here?"

Independence policy

  • Rankings and order are never for sale. No vendor can pay to be listed, to move up, or to change what we say.
  • Affiliate and referral links are always disclosed next to the link and on the tool page. They never change the order or the facts. Right now we have joined no programmes.
  • Sponsorships, if we ever take them, are labelled "Sponsored" and kept apart from the comparison table and the checklist.
  • Vendors can send corrections. We check them against public pages before changing anything, and we date every check.

How the data is collected

  • Every fact comes from a page on the vendor's own site (or a vendor press release) that we opened. The links are on each tool page.
  • If we couldn't find something, it says "not stated". We never guess.
  • Prices are copied exactly as shown, with the currency. Approximate RM conversions are only used to sort the table.
  • A weekly script re-checks each vendor's pricing page and flags changes for a human to review.

How we rank: the "MY fit" checklist

For now we don't give subjective quality scores. The default order uses a 7-point checklist of facts that matter to Malaysian clinics:

  1. Malay / Bahasa Malaysia support stated
  2. Mandarin support stated
  3. Tamil support stated
  4. Malaysia PDPA mentioned by vendor
  5. Malaysia presence shown
  6. Price published in MYR
  7. Ongoing free tier

"Not stated" counts as zero. Hands-on testing scores (note quality in code-switched Manglish consults, edit time) will be added later. When they are, the method will be published here first.

Not advice

This site is for information only. It is not medical, legal or data-protection advice. Check the MMC guidance on AI in medical practice and your PDPA obligations, and confirm details with the vendor before buying.
